A simultaneous communication type transceiver that is effective in work sites where precise instructions and timing are crucial, such as crane operations.

The IC-MS5880#11 is a parent unit of a simultaneous communication type transceiver for work communication manufactured by Icom. It is a specific low-power transceiver. It supports hands-free simultaneous communication and multi-party communication. 1. Up to 9 parties can communicate simultaneously: 2 IC-MS5880 units and 8 IC-5880 units. 2. Up to 5 parties can communicate simultaneously: 1 IC-MS5880 unit and 4 IC-5880 units. Area expansion is possible. 1. By connecting the line compensator AG-5880 to the IC-MS5880, an area expansion of up to 50m can be achieved, and by connecting up to 3 AG-5880 units, a total area expansion of over 150m allows for simultaneous communication with IC-5880 units. 2. By connecting VE-PG4 to the IC-MS5880 and linking it to an IP network, simultaneous communication between IC-5880 units in separate buildings can be achieved. 3. Using VE-PG4 to connect to IP telephony allows for group calls or simultaneous communication with IC-5880 units from office telephones, reducing the effort for office communication and phone responses. The IC-MS5880 has the following communication modes: 1. Simultaneous communication mode 2. PTT transmission mode 3. Repeater operation mode 4. Transmission prohibition mode 5. Auto channel mode

The IC-5880 is a simultaneous communication transceiver (sub-unit) that is ideal for work communication over a wide area. ■ Excels in situations where precise instructions and timing are crucial With simultaneous communication, information can be conveyed smoothly, enhancing the efficiency and accuracy of work. Additionally, there is no need for switching between sending and receiving, allowing for immediate communication at the necessary moment. ■ Expands communication range with a line compensator, perfect for work communication over large areas By connecting the line compensator AG-5880 to the IC-MS5880 (main unit) via coaxial cable, simultaneous communication can be achieved across a large work site. *Note: A license application is required for the use of the line compensator. ■ Enables simultaneous communication between sub-units across buildings and from fixed phones By utilizing the RoIP gateway VE-PG4 to connect the IC-MS5880 (main unit) to an IP network, simultaneous communication between IC-5880 (sub-units) in separate buildings can be realized. Additionally, by using the VE-PG4, it can connect to IP phones, allowing for group calls and simultaneous communication from the office's fixed phone to the IC-5880. *Note: When connecting to an IP network, there may be a time lag.
